For this piece, I tested a different workflow to bring my recurring dreamlike visions to life. I began with Daz3D to find the hand pose I deemed as "perfect", then I designed the main piece (the Sun) in Krita before exporting to Illustrator to trace it into clean vectors. In C4D, I built the scene, carefully placing the background, the materials, and the lightening to enhance the mood I was going for.
Finally, I did some post-effects in Photoshop to subtly add to the piece with my personal artistic touch.
This artwork means to represent the ever-present nature of the sun in our lifes - an unspoken constant that we rarely acknowledge but always long for when it goes away.
